Jeffrey Brooks, CPA, MBA, CFP
In 1985, Jeff began his own firm out of his house with only one client. Today, Jeff is the President of Brooks & Associates, CPA, PC, a CPA firm with over 500 business and individual clients. Jeff is very proud that over 94% of new clients come directly from recommendations from very satisfied clients!
Jeff is known by his client's as a creative tax and cash flow problem solver who has a consuming passion for results and client service!
Jeff graduated from Arizona State University with accounting and finance degrees, with Top Honors. Jeff worked full time during school while completing his undergraduate degree in only 3 years. Jeff then completed a 2 year Masters of Business Administration degree in just 14 months with Distinction.
From 1973 to 1976 Jeff worked for International as well as local CPA firms. In 1976, Jeff became a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
From 1977 to 1985, Jeff worked in a variety of industries as Director of Taxation, Controller, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and part of the management team. Jeff build a reputation for analyzing difficult tax and profitability problems that appeared to be unsolved and then finding creative solutions that got cash flow results!
After beginning his CPA and advisory firm, Jeff has also served as the Chief Financial Officer for several restaurant chains including a major franchisee of Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Z’Tejas, Inc., P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Paul Lee’s Chinese Kitchen. Jeff is Chief Financial Officer for various clients.
In 1991, Jeff became licensed as a Certified Financial Planner.
Jeff has taught American Institute of Certified Public Accountants tax and accounting courses to other CPA's and tax professionals.
Brooks & Associates, CPA, PC has nine employees. Each employee receives intensive training resulting in superior client service.
